Trans Cambrian Way – By Mountain Bike
Trans Cambrian Way
In June 2014 a group of middle-aged men with a penchant for pub-based meetings and mountain bikes set off from Knighton, across the beautiful Trans Cambrian Way to Aberdovey on the west coast of Wales.
This website condenses the huge number of meetings, arguments, discussions and pints, and will hopefully be a useful reference tool for others wishing to complete the ride.
Our ride was over three days, but can be adapted to suit your time or abilities. The route is approx 183km (104 miles) over mixed terrain (but mainly moorland – see above) and if the weather’s nice it’s simply breathtaking.
